Lorde: Homemade Dynamite

The main issue with the build up to Melodrama has been that these new studio tracks haven’t really been living up to the phenomenal live performances in the build to the Kiwi’s sophomore record. Whilst Homemade Dynamite doesn’t really match the mark of the live version teased, it’s still a standout from the collection of new Lorde music gracing our Friday for which we are forever grateful…

Now the solo project of Jonny Pierce, I’ll Fight For Your Life combines the effortlessly twee guitar of debut-era Drums with the woefully, fairly morbid lyrics we’ve come to expect from one of the past decades finest indie exports.
