Previously Unseen Prince Portraits Released and up for Sale

Ahead of the first anniversary of The Purple One’s passing, photography specialists Sonic Edition have announced their collaboration with Paisley Park’s in-house photographer Steve Parks for the unveiling of previously Prince photography. The result? A selection of portrait prints that you’re going want to get your hands on instantly.

In line with Steve Parks’ latest book, Picturing Prince: An Intimate Portrait, the limited edition prints come as newly-revealed images of the musical icon photographed by the man responsible for giving the public a glimpse into Prince’s four decade career.

Sonic Edition themselves are prone to shining new light on pop culture’s biggest heroes, with limited edition, fine art portraits of the likes of David Bowie, Bod Dylan and Marilyn Monroe all available via the site. Prince makes up the latest edition to their list, slotting in with the other stars rather nicely.

Each of the Giclee prints is available on 16 x 12 on Fuji Crystal Archive paper, numbered and professionally mounted inside a hand-made 20 x 16 wooden frame.

The release marks the first time these prints have been made available at the price of £199 a portrait and are arguably a must-have for Prince die-hards and pop culture fans all round.

Check out the prints for yourself right here with further information and pricing available from the site. We’d suggest you hurry as it’s unlikely these are going to stick around for long…
