Kiddy Smile’s Video for ‘Teardrops In The Box’ Is An Essential Watch

Parisian DJ/producer/wunderkind Kiddy Smile has dropped the video to his incredible new single Teardrops In The Box and we cannot get enough of it…

Teardrops In The Box is follow up to his intrepid debut single Let A B!tch Know, oozing with raw synths and that nostalgic house club element making it appear that Kiddy Smile won’t be slowing down anytime soon.
Directed by Kamel Bentot, the track’s accompanying video clip is where the song is really given a brand new breath of life, celebrating LGBTQ+ nightlife across eight minutes of colourful mayhem. The video stars the artist himself in a narrative that tackles all things queer culture, drag and absolutely owning it on the dancefloor. It sends the message that you shouldn’t be ashamed of who you are, instead embracing the people around you that are proud of you for who you are. The video also features a massive party which showcases some of the best voguing by an array of drag queens, dancers and Kiddy Smile himself.

Teardrops In The Box is out now on Defected Records, home of dance pioneers Crookers, MK and Sam Divine to name but a few. The video is available to check out/keep on repeat right below.
