Although the seasons are changing, we’re still in winter and spring is only just on the horizon. With that in mind, we’ve chosen our favourite new releases that you can layer up in your look, whether its a classic piece that every wardrobe needs or a more contemporary garment that nods to the SS17 trends.
Marni: Earn Your Stripes
A classic blue and white striped shirt is a wardrobe investment for every man. This navy and white, wide-stripe shirt from Marni is one of those pieces that you can pretty much wear with anything and it’ll always look good.
SS17 is awash with pink. Take an understated approach to this trend with the AMI sweater, which comes in a subtle shade of pale pink. The premium wool crew neck sweater is ribbed, adding sophisticated texture to your look.
A.Four: In the Right and Wrong
For those who can’t do right for doing wrong, street brand A.Four has created the perfect tee. The classic crew t-shirt is emblazoned with the ‘Right Wrong’ slogan, in the now iconic Beyoncé album-esque aesthetic of pink on black. This understated tee is right on trend, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Societe Anonyme: Pleats Please
The skinny fit is over. Now, it’s all about playing with proportion, as seen in the JapBoy trousers by Societe Anonyme. The light blue unisex trousers are pleated along the waistband to create volume and shape, while the cropped length toys with dimensions.
Rochambeau: Purple Reign
French brand Rochambeau adds a softer, luxe spin on the sportswear staple. It has all the typical hoodie features like the drawstring hood and pocket pouch, but it all comes in a beautiful lavender shade.
Gucci: Blue Suede
Icons like James Dean and Steve McQueen made the Harrington jacket inherently cool, which is why Gucci is bringing it back for SS17. High-necked, tight-cuffed and comfortable fit, this blue suede jacket can be thrown over any outfit to add instant timeless style.
